Charities

One aspect that we have been very much aware of is the assistance required by small to medium size charities in managing their additional funds. We have been brought in to assist charities over recent years, who have built up funds and require some assistance in generating a modest income from this whilst permitting the capital to maintain its purchasing power over time.

We have constructed portfolios that are especially helpful to charities as they seek to have an ethical tilt whilst not having an exclusively ethical limitation. We are aware that purchasing completely “non ethical” funds would be inappropriate for most charities so we seek to find those that are sympathetic to ethical requirements whilst still delivering an income level which is suited to the charity’s requirements.

Our current charity clients have been seeking an on-going, sustainable income from their investments and this portfolio seeks to deliver this.
